Ideally students should attend the complete classroom courses as they benefit enormously from these lecture days participating in blind tastings, food and wine matching lunches, question and answer sessions and much more. However, we understand that sometimes it’s not always possible with work and life commitments. Regardless we still strongly recommend that you practice and develop your skills using the WSET Systematic Approach to Tasting within a tutored environment too, particularly at Level 2 and Level 3.
Level 3 examinations incorporate theory and blind tasting papers so, we will not be able to submit the details of any Level 3 ONLINE learning student to WSET Exams until we have been provided with sufficient evidence that they have achieved an adequate level of tasting and theory knowledge. As a result, attendance of a 1-day lecture in one of our ‘open’ courses is compulsory and included in the Level 3 course fee (does not apply to Level 1 or 2).
Additional days are recommended and chargeable as detailed below.
Just give us at least 2 weeks notice, and numbers permitting, we’d love you to join us. Full day attendance are required to be paid in full before we can confirm your place.
