Someones been drinking a lot of Champagne!

i87GqmqN8iOsDespite flat sales during the first 6 months trading, Möet Hennessy, part of the luxury brand LVMH, and owners of prestige brands like Möet et Chandon and Veuve Clicquot, has posted a much stronger performance in the third quarter of 2012.  Their Champagne and wines totalled 455€, up 2%, from the same period the year before.

The company were delighted to announce:

The Champagne experienced a rebound in the third quarter, driven by strong demand in the Asian and American markets, and it’s prestige brands made strong progress over the period”

IMG_1660Hang on to your hats though!!  If they thought those figures were good, wait til you hear the results following our Champagne Trip in June 2013.  Based on the boot loads following our cellar boutique shopping sprees at both these Champagne Houses, they’re in for a great treat!!!!
